Petra and Andreas wish to express a warm welcome to our international guests
Our home, an exceptional country house, is situated on an idyllic sole property with our very next neighbors being as „close“ as 600 meters. Surrounded by forest, fields and meadows, no street lights, very low mobile network coverage (we have high speed fiber-internet, however) - short version; pristine, secluded and only steps away. We name the place „Sambucus“ to honor one of the most astounding sacred plant beings in our small valley, SAMBUCUS NIGRA, the Elderflower.
While we usually speak (sort of) German, we are still very happy to explain the contents of these pages to those of our visitors who are not so familiar with our language. In fact, pictures speak louder than a thousand words, you will find quite a few on the website.
Both of us are quite fluent in English - so yes, we equally welcome international visitors!
Klind is a small part of the village of Bachmanning, also quite small, yet with very high quality of life. Even though we are rather far away from stressful city life (the next bigger town, Wels, is 24 km away), our home in the middle of Upper Austria is really easy to reach. Motorway A8, exits Meggenhofen (from Munich) or Wels-West (from Vienna, Linz…) are a 15 minute’s drive. Shuttling from the next bigger train stations does not take very much longer and two international airports VIE (Vienna, Austria) and MUC (Munich, Germany) are both about 200 km away - in opposite directions. VIE is connected every hour by express train from Wels.

Petra's workplace is a health food store, she's a trained consultant on herbs and medical plants.Furthermore, Petra is an exceptional vegetarian and vegan cook, even for a larger number of guests. Whenever possible, she is using food produced by herself, grown on our property. And she can be fast and persevering, having done many marathons and ultra races.
Andreas holds a doctor’s degree in law, works as a mediator, divorce and business consultant and, with the Upper Austrian Children’s and Youth’s Advocacy, as a trainer to prevent violence and bullying in schools. Before becoming fully self-employed in 2008, Andreas served in the public sector as a city manager where he both enjoyed to be close to the townspeople as well as the professional exchange, national and international. He was a member of ICMA, the International City Managers’ Association (based in D.C.). English language still plays an important role in his live, now as a simultaneous interpreter of HUESA (online and offline) seminars.

Sambucus country house originally was a small farm house, dating back to the 18th century or even longer. An artist bought the property in 2000 and created the unique mixture of still a farm house and a mansion, probably inspired by Antoni Gaudi, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Frank Lloyd Wright and traditional Austrian fin de siecle country architecture.
Eventuelly he migrated to Thailand and sold the property to us. We did some adapts to create a smaller private part and three (to four) outstanding guest rooms with own bathrooms, 70 m2 (750 ft2) sized winter-garden for seminars and more.
We believe in being guests on earth so we want to live as environment friendly as possible. Up to 80% of electric power supply is generated by the sun, heat comes from wood and wood pellets and also from the sun, water from our well, waste water is collected and brought to the sewer plant by lorry/truck - there’s always room for improvements, obviously.
Our house is a center for spiritual growth, we are no hotel, no AirBNB place and usually we do not rent the place for other events.
Our small valley is full of natural spirits. Additionally we are blessed, as you can see in the arial view, to have a HUESA Spiral of purification. and, most of all (hidden in plain sight) the first, and so far only Austrian HUESA - huesa.org Golden Energy pyramid on our premisis, a place for meditation and contemplation, connected hourly at minute 11 to a world wide energetic network of currently 215 similar cosmic sending and receiving devices - All is One and One is All.
